Triumphant Trio: Barker, Butcher, and Tinkler Dominate Inaugural Equipe 6 Hours Race

The #40 Lotus Elan, driven by Ben Barker, Rory Butcher, and Ben Tinkler, won the first-ever six-hour Equipe Classic Racing endurance event at Donington Park. They were followed by the similar Elan of John Tordoff, James Dorlin, and Andrew Jordan.

John Tordoff started from pole in the #600 car, but was outdragged by the #40 Lotus driven by Rory Butcher. Despite falling outside the top five, Tordoff was happy with his pace.

The race saw three safety car periods but no major changes between the top two cars. The #40 Elan led from start to finish, with the #600 car finishing second, almost 60 seconds behind.

Andrew Jordan’s car faced a puncture but still managed to finish the race. Jordan expressed disappointment over the incident but was pleased with completing the event.

The podium was completed by Connor Kay, Ben Caisley, and Dominic Mooney in another Elan. Mooney faced delays early on but the trio overcame challenges to secure a podium finish.
